Who we are

Wyrebuilt is a studio that builds websites and web apps for businesses. We are responsible for the personal data you send us through this website. For anything about your data, email enquiries@wyrebuilt.co.uk.

We handle your data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What the contact form collects

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, business, what you need (site, web app or not sure), your timing and your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you want one, to prepare a quote or proposal. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries people send us, and taking steps you ask for before any contract.

Where it is stored

Form entries are stored by our website host’s form service and delivered to our email. Our host is based in the United States, so entries may be processed outside the UK under the safeguards the host provides for UK data transfers.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not turn into work, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact. If it does turn into work, we keep what we need to do the work and keep proper records.

Sharing

We never sell or share your details or any lists. The only other parties who handle it are the services that store it for us (our website host and our email provider).

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Email enquiries@wyrebuilt.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those files from Google. The live demo and site audit save your choices in your own browser’s storage so they survive a refresh; that stays on your device and is not sent to us.
