About these terms

These terms cover your use of wyrebuilt.co.uk, run by Wyrebuilt, a studio that builds websites and web apps for businesses. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute about them.

Information only

Content on this site is for general information. It is not advice and it is not an offer. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, and we may change it at any time.

Examples are demos

The examples on /work/ and the live demos are demo builds made to show how we work. They are examples, not client work. Business names, people and prices in them are fictional.

Calls and proposals

An intro call is a conversation, not a commitment on either side. Nothing on this site, and nothing said on a call, is an offer or a contract.

When a build starts

A build starts only after we have agreed a written scope and we have received the deposit or first payment.

After go-live

Every build includes a 30-day snag period after go-live, in which we fix defects within the agreed scope. After that, any further work is agreed separately.

Ownership

You keep ownership of the assets you give us, such as logos, content, images and data. You own the finished work once it is paid in full.
